"Breakthroughs in ASIC Synthesis Productivity." Gallagher will discuss

He will also detail limitations in current approaches and how they can
be overcome with the Synplify ASIC(TM) software, particularly in the
areas of runtime, timing closure and training. The summary of this

synthesis strategies to target areas for improvement.

ABOUT THE SPEAKER: John Gallagher is the director of marketing for
Synplicity's ASIC synthesis technologies. Prior to joining Synplicity
in 1999, Gallagher served as director of place and route marketing at
Cadence Design Systems. He has also held ASIC marketing positions at
LSI Logic and Hewlett-Packard. Gallagher holds a bachelor's of science
in engineering and an MBA from Cornell University.
